Homo habilis and Paranthropus boisei interaction.

Interaction between Homo habilis and Paranthropus boisei at Olduvai, Tanzania, 1.8 Ma ago. Two young females of these diverging lineages have a friendly meeting on the wooded savannah. Paranthropus boisei specialized on chewing tough plant material and Homo habilis on more complex cognition and tool crafting, which allowed them to adapt to a wider variety of conditions and evolve and improve in a myriad of non-anatomical ways.
The bovids are Pelorovis oldowayensis, relatives of modern buffalos.
