Ice Age gray wolves

During the upper Pleistocene there were several gray wolf lineages that no longer exist, such as the one that gave rise to domestic dogs, and also the european "cave wolf", Jaurens wolf and Don wolf, all three of big body size and big teeth according to the size of the prey available in the Ice Age. These two represent one of those megafaunal wolf subspecies/morphotypes.
