Menner's bison reconstruction

An early Pleistocene european species of bison. May have been the ancestor of the later more known species. Its notorious anatomical traits are its long limbs and high hump (according to various sources it had a short hump though...), and its modest horns compared to the later gigantic Ice Age bisons.

The skeleton I used to reconstruct the bison was published by R.-D Kahlke and E. Haase in a paper about the species.
